Mallo Cups

Type: milk chocolate with whipped creme center
Origin: U.S.A.
Manufacture: Boyer Candy, Co
Purchase from Candystore Toronto, CA

I was so happy to discover this on my recent trip in Canada. I have been looking and wanting to taste them. I have heard nothing but good raves about Mallo Cups.

There were coconut pieces in the chocolate cups. The white filling were the whipped creme. To my dissapointment, they were actually tasted Ok but not great nor fantastic. I was hoping for somekind of magic to happen. I thought if they invested in higher grade of chocolate, it would have tasted even better.

Neilson Jersey Milk

Type: Milk Chocolate
Manufacture: Cadbury Confectionery
Origin: Canada
Purchased from the Dominion Supermarket in Toronto

I love the simple old-fashioned packaging. Neilson Jersey Milk was originaly founded and owned by William Nelson in 1893 as one of the many independent dairy company. Sadly since 1996, Cadbury Canada began to manufacture the Neilson Jersey Milk Chocolate.

The chocolate tasted like any other Cadbury's chocolates. The chocolate is milky and creamy however, there is nothing special or extraordinary to it.

Reese's Dark Chocolate

Type: Peanut butter cups in dark chocolate.
Limited Edition Dark Chocolate
Origin: Canada
Manufacture: Hersey's Canada
Purchased from One Dollar Store in Montreal, Canada

I love Reese's. Reese's is one of my favorites chocolate and when i spotted this, i just have to buy them. Lately chocolates manufactures have been making and introducing the dark chocolate version to the market. Some have been very successful and remained in the market such as the Dark chocolate Snickers and dark mint chocolate 3 musketeers. As for Reese's dark chocolate version, i am not so sure.

In my humble opinion, the dark chocolate ruined the flavor and taste to the peanut butter. They just don't go well together.

Jujubes and Jujyfruits

Type: a fat free candy.
Manufacture: Farley's & Sathers Candy Company,Inc.
Origin: U.S.A
Purchased from CVS West Lafayette, Indiana

I have seen these boxes many many times at the local stores and they are not attracted or appealing to me and i have never thought of buying and reviewing them yet.

My brother who is in Purdue University, Indiana is coming to meet me and the other brother in Toronto, Canada. And i have requested to bring me some of the locals candy or chocolates. NOT surprisingly to me, these candy were what he bought.

Jujubes are the mini versions of DOTS. They have same flavor as DOTS as well. As for the texture, these candy are extremely hard, unpleasant and uncomfortable to chew.
