Big Hunk

Type: Chewy sweet honeyed sweetened nougat filled with whole roasted peanut
Origin: U.S.A
Manufacture: Annabelle
Purchase from Walgreen's San Francisco

My husband is a huge fan of the Big Hunk. It was his childhood favorite. His idea of a good time with the Big Hunk is to leave them in the freezer until it harden and he would break it in pieces. He either will have the Big Hunk on its own or with a bowl of ice cream. His and now my favorite as well is t have the Big Hunk with Chocolate ice cream.

LOOK!

Type: Rich chocolate covered nougat with peanut.

Origin: U.S.A

Manufacture: Annabelle's

Purchase from Walgreen at Geary St, San Francisco

So far this is the best product i have tried from Annabelle's Company. LOOK! chocolate bar is not too sweet and surprisingly enjoyable. The nougat is pleasantly chewy. I can taste the molasses and the honey in the brown color nougat. The nougat is covered in a thin layer of bittersweet dark chocolate. The peanuts are plentiful in this chocolate bar and they are crunchy. Rating: 8

ABBA-ZABA

Type: Taffy with peanut butter filling
Manufacture: Annabelle's
Origin: U.S.A
Purchase from Walgreen's at Divisadero St, San Francisco

The taffy is chewy and hard. The peanut butter is creamy and salty. Apple Taffy version has better flavour than the original. Surprisingly, the apple taffy is sour and compliments well with the saltiness of the peanut butter.

Abba-Zaba

Type: Chewy Taffy Peanut Butter Center
Origin: U.S.A
Manufacture :Annabelle Candy Co
Purchase from a Shell Gas Station Filmore St. San Francisco

My friend at work raved so much about this bar. I have tried other Annabelle's products and most of them turned to a disappointment for me. This hard to chewy, stuck to your gum taffy is unpleasant in every way. I don't like the flavour nor the uneasiness around my gum.

Type: Apple Taffy. Peanut Butter Center

Overall i don't like the texture but as for flavour, this one is the winner! I love the sourness from the apple and the saltiness from the peanut butter. It works wonderful well together.

Rocky Road

Type: Chocolate bar coated marshmallow
Origin:U.S.A
Manufacture: Annabelle's
Purchase from Walgreen's at Chestnut St, San Francisco

I have decided to try and compare all of the three flavours of Rocky Road. Among the three, my favorite is Rocky Road Dark Chocolate coated marshmallow mint with cashew ( the green wrapper). The marshmallow is soft, green and has a strong minty smell. The mint flavour is not too heavy. it has a nice mix of dark chocolate and mint. The mint and the dark chocolate compliments each other; one does not overtaken the other.
My second favorites is Rocky Road Dark Chocolate coated marshmallow with cashew (the gold wrapper). The dark chocolate has bittersweet taste and more chocolaty than the milk chocolate. The marshmallow is thick, foamy and not sticky.
And the least favorite is the Rocky Road Milk Chocolate coated marshmallow with cashew ( the red wrapper). When it compares with the mint and dark chocolate, the milk chocolate does not stand out in terms of flavour. It does has a smoother taste than the other two however, i find that this bar particularly dull.
Rocky Road milk chocolate coated marshmallow with cashew=5
Rocky Road dark chocolate coated marshmallow with cashew= 7
