Reese's

Type: Reese's cup chocolates
Origin: U.S.A
Manufacture:Hersey's
Purchase from various stores in San Francisco

Type:Reese's Fudge Egg Easter 2008
It is very sticky, salty and has more peanut butter than fudge. the fudge just melt on your mouth and I barely taste it.
Rating: 8

Type: Reese's Limited Edition Big PB Cup with mixed nuts

I bought this chocolate last year and finally decided to try them. I love Reese's Cup so i always try to save the best for last. The mixed nuts in this Reese's are cashews, almonds and pecans. The mixed nuts are in chunks and not grind to little pieces. These Limited Editions are actually quiet good and it is refreshing to have something new and different version of Reese's cup.

Type:Reese's Limited Edition Big PB Cup with Caramel and Nuts
The caramel is a thin layer at the bottom of the Peanut Butter. The caramel is sticky and sweet however, it does not overwhelms the saltiness of the Peanut Butter. This PB cup with caramel and nuts is OK but not great.

Type: Reese's Limited Edition PB Cups with Marshmallow
The marshmallow is a white thin layer at the bottom of the PB. I can taste something different and definitely it is the marshmallow however, i am not sure what Marshmallow supposed to taste like. Overall, i definitely will not purchase these again and will persuaded Hersey's not to make this.

Type: Reese's Limited Edition PB Cups with Double Chocolate
The PB filling in this cups has darker and brownish color. It is definitely more chocolaty and sweet and yet there is enough saltiness from the PB. However, i don't think too much chocolate makes a better Reese's PB cup. Nevertheless i feel that this version changed the whole dynamic of the Reese's OB cup supposed to taste like.

This chocolate bar is too sweet for my taste. It has a milky and creamy texture. It has a great flavour combination but i definitely will not buy this again.
Rating: 7 for Hersey's Smores

This bar is too chewy and the marshmallow is fluffy and taste artificial.

Bubu Lubu

Type: Strawberry flavored jelly and marshmallow with chocolate flavored coating
Origin: Mexico
Manufacture: Ricolino
Purchase from Hispanic Grocery Store at Mountain View, Ca

So far my reviews on Mexican chocolates have been favorable. So when i spotted this chocolate at the Hispanic grocery store i had a very high expectations.

This particular chocolate call " Bubu Lubu" ( when it pronounce, it sounds like baby talk) is actually quiet pleasant. It has a mild flavor and it is not too sweet. However, i did not find it satisfying. I like this chocolate but i wished it had more flavor. The marshmallow actually compliments the strawberry flavor rather well . On the other hand, i wished the stawberry jelly had a stronger and more intense flavor.

Take 5

Type: Original Take 5 made with chocolate, pretzel, caramel and peanut butter.

Type: Marshmallow Take 5 made with pretzel, peanut butter, marshmallow creme, peanuts and milk chocolate. ( Limited Edition)

Type: Peanut Butter Take 5 made with pretzel, caramel, peanut butter and peanut butter candy.

Origin:U.S.A
Manufacture: Hersey's
Purchase from various liquor store in San Francisco.

My favorite among the three is the Original Take 5. I think Hersey's should just stick with the original. The original has great flavour. I love the crunchiness of the pretzel, chewy and stringy caramel and the sweet and salty taste of the peanut butter.
Rating: 9
The Peanut Butter Take 5 is too much for me. It is overload with peanut butter. I like peanut butter but not that much! I feel that it is too filling, too rich and the flavour too intense. I just had 2 bites and i could not finish them.
Rating: 7

The Limited Edition Marshmallow Take 5 has a very interesting flavour. In my opinion, it taste funky and definitely, not a good combination.

CupOGold

Type: Thick, Rich Milk Chocolate Creamy Smoother Center of Almonds and Coconut
Origin: U.S.A
Manufacture: Hoffman's
Purchase from a liquor store at Market St, San Francisco

CupOGold is a single cup of creamy milk chocolate from San Francisco with toasted almond and coconut filling. I like the filling; toasted almond, marshmallow and coconut a lot but i certainly do not like the chocolate. In my opinion, so far this is the worst chocolate i have ever taste. The milk chocolate is weak . Perhaps, if Hoffman Company use a better quality/grade of chocolate, it would have been a better CupOGold.

Rocky Road

Type: Chocolate bar coated marshmallow
Origin:U.S.A
Manufacture: Annabelle's
Purchase from Walgreen's at Chestnut St, San Francisco

I have decided to try and compare all of the three flavours of Rocky Road. Among the three, my favorite is Rocky Road Dark Chocolate coated marshmallow mint with cashew ( the green wrapper). The marshmallow is soft, green and has a strong minty smell. The mint flavour is not too heavy. it has a nice mix of dark chocolate and mint. The mint and the dark chocolate compliments each other; one does not overtaken the other.
My second favorites is Rocky Road Dark Chocolate coated marshmallow with cashew (the gold wrapper). The dark chocolate has bittersweet taste and more chocolaty than the milk chocolate. The marshmallow is thick, foamy and not sticky.
And the least favorite is the Rocky Road Milk Chocolate coated marshmallow with cashew ( the red wrapper). When it compares with the mint and dark chocolate, the milk chocolate does not stand out in terms of flavour. It does has a smoother taste than the other two however, i find that this bar particularly dull.
Rocky Road milk chocolate coated marshmallow with cashew=5
Rocky Road dark chocolate coated marshmallow with cashew= 7
Rocky Road dark chocolate coated marshmallow mint with cashew= 7

This chocolate candy is thick in size, hard and shape like a pumpkin. It is a cutest little thing. It is surprisingly taste like an almond joy. I like this candy a lot. It is not to sweet and it is a perfect size! The chocolate is rich, creamy and melt on your mouth. The coconut is plentiful and in bits of pieces. This chocolate definitely deserve to be one of my favorites Halloween candy .

ORANGE MARSHMALLOW PUMPKIN
The candy shape like a pumpkin and it is soft in texture. The marshmallow has a bright orange color. I do not like this candy at all. The marshmallow taste like an orange sorbet rather than a pumpkin.

This chocolate candy tasted horrible!! It was stale and tasted artificial. I was hugely disappointed. I was excited and expected great things from this chocolate. I could not taste the marshmallow at all. It was simply inedible.
