EggNog

Type: Creamy milk chocolate with traditional eggnog filling
Origin: Canada
Manufacture: Splendid Chocolates
Purchased from Cost Plus World Market San Francisco
Assuming the white creamy filling is the eggnog, i find it too sweet. It tasted sugary and does not taste like eggnog. The chocolate is milky but too sweet. Overall, it is tasted more like a cheap chocolate. Rating: 4

Maple Cream

Type: Milk chocolate maple cream filled
Origin: Canada
Manufacture: Heart Industries
Purchase from a tourist gift store in Canada

Wherever i am, i am always on the look-out for chocolate. On my recent trip to Canada i discovered Maple cream chocolate. Canada, as we all know, is famous for its maple syrup. So when i discovered this chocolate at the store, i was so excited!

The bar is divided into 6 squares. The maple cream is white and creamy. After few bites i concluded that there was really nothing special to this chocolate. What a disappointment! It tasted like any other milk chocolate bar. It has a weak maple flavor.

Neilson Jersey Milk

Type: Milk Chocolate
Manufacture: Cadbury Confectionery
Origin: Canada
Purchased from the Dominion Supermarket in Toronto

I love the simple old-fashioned packaging. Neilson Jersey Milk was originaly founded and owned by William Nelson in 1893 as one of the many independent dairy company. Sadly since 1996, Cadbury Canada began to manufacture the Neilson Jersey Milk Chocolate.

The chocolate tasted like any other Cadbury's chocolates. The chocolate is milky and creamy however, there is nothing special or extraordinary to it.

Reese's Dark Chocolate

Type: Peanut butter cups in dark chocolate.
Limited Edition Dark Chocolate
Origin: Canada
Manufacture: Hersey's Canada
Purchased from One Dollar Store in Montreal, Canada

I love Reese's. Reese's is one of my favorites chocolate and when i spotted this, i just have to buy them. Lately chocolates manufactures have been making and introducing the dark chocolate version to the market. Some have been very successful and remained in the market such as the Dark chocolate Snickers and dark mint chocolate 3 musketeers. As for Reese's dark chocolate version, i am not so sure.

In my humble opinion, the dark chocolate ruined the flavor and taste to the peanut butter. They just don't go well together.

Mirage

Type: Bubbly milk chocolate

Mirage chocolate bar is in many ways similar to AERO bar. The only difference i can point is that Mirage is brittle than AERO. I wonder why Hersey's never have similar product such as this in the States. I actually like Mirage Bar. I like the texture of the chocolate and surprisingly they are tasty and delicious.

Crunchy peanuts, chewy caramel, covered in dark chocolate.

Purchase from a gas station somewhere between Ottawa and Toronto.

I have always on the look out for limited edition chocolates. And after months of blogging, reviewing and searching for limited edition chocolates, i have found that the best place to look for them are in mom and pap's store.

The peanuts are chunky, dry roasted and crunchy. I can't really taste the caramel and the dark chocolate. It is definitely chewy and fudgy. Overall the experienced coming from this bar is crunchy and chewy.

Dubble Bubble Chick Eggs

Purchase from Walgreen's San Francisco

When you start seeing this everywhere at Walgreen's, Rite Aid or Longs Drugs, you know Easter is just around the corner. I picked them up because they are just so cute. The flavor does not last long and don't expect a fresh mint breath coming from these gum.
